Christmas 2011
Carol Service
At our Christmas Carol service the congregation of well over 100 were divided into four groups to sing Twelve Days of Christmas beginning seated and then standing for "your" day with everyone standing for "5 days". Rev. Tim scampered up and down the aisle to remind each group to stand for "their" day and by the end must have been exhausted!
Crib Service
The children's crib service was attended by about 135 adults and 75 children, a full church! Rev Tim worked very hard to ensure that all children that were at the service were involved in some way or other so the 70 or so costumes created by the hard-working "wardrobe department" were well used!
In addition we had a small pony with costume ears standing in for the donkey, the children (and many adults) loved this. As the service progressed with carols suitable for the young people, so the various Nativity characters were involved in the action culminating with everyone going to the crib scene where many gifts were left.
