Runners swapped mince pies for trainers at our annual Boxing Day run.
Instead of watching festive films and eating the left-over food, 210 runners gathered in the village to take part in
the event, which is now in its seventh year.
The annual event is organised by Barbara Podbury, church warden, and sees athletes travel to the village from far and
wide to take part.
The four-and-a-half-mile challenge takes place along tracks, through grass and off the main road in and around Turners
Hill village.
The course started at Tulleys Farm and then went through Harbour Holdings' land to the Rowfant Business Park and onto
the Worth Way before turning around and coming back the same way.
The overall winner was Tom Owens who completed the run in a new course record of 24 minutes 09 seconds.
All the funds raised from the run goes to the up-keep of St Leonard's Church and churchyard.
